MOVING FROM FEAR TO FREEDOM!
In this blog I wanted to provide you with an update on my Coaching business and what I plan to do next. I am excited to confirm that I am now providing Business and Life Coaching on a full time basis. This has been a dream of mine for many years and I am so happy this this dream has finally come true! I now have more time to carry-out research, create more blogs and of course provide coaching sessions to my clients.
It’s funny sometimes how life conspires to move you in a particular direction! Following a chain of events running over many years the words “FEAR” and “FREEDOM” kept popping into my head. I have had a lot of experience of fear - I have experienced it myself, my coaching clients have experienced it as have my business contacts and my friends.
It was as though these experiences were telling me - “Kev, this is your focus!”.
This fear tends to show up as anxiety or stress and can be an incredibly strong emotion that can shut you down and prevent you from being resourceful.
The root cause of the fear (anxiety/stress) can be from many areas of your life:
- your business
- your job
- your relationships
- your health
- your money (...or the lack of it!)
...to name just a few!
What ever the root cause the end result can be the same, below are just a hand-full of the symptoms of fear:
- you can feel shut down
- lack resourcefulness to resolve a problem
- you can only see a negative outcome
- you struggle to get a good night’s sleep
- fear can manifest itself physically making you feel terrible!
Moving forward the focus of my Coaching business will be to help people (either business clients or life coaching clients) who are struggling with fear (anxiety or stress) and help them get their freedom!
I also will be releasing a series of blogs based upon the theme of fear and provide ways you can move yourself away from fear and move towards your freedom!
10 Ways to get a GREAT NIGHT’S SLEEP!
In this first video I address one of the symptoms I mention above - “struggling to get a good night’s sleep”.
Sleep is a vital component of having good mental and physical health. I have struggled for a number of years to get a restful sleep and I know the impact of poor quality sleep and also not getting enough sleep. Many people struggle to sleep well because of their anxiety or stress. Following my own experience and research I share 10 ways that you can get a great night’s sleep - and take a step closer to your freedom! I hope you enjoy it!
Kev’s BLOG Tip - “Super Brain!”
I am currently on a 30 day programme called “Super Brain”. This is a Mind Valley programme and is run by Jim Kwik who is known for his incredible memory and his ability to remember the names of 100 people he meets at his seminars (in order!). He shares lots of techniques , strategies and tips about how to improve your memory. From remembering peoples names, presenting to people without notes to speeding up learning of a 2nd language (which is important to me as I am learning Welsh and really want to crack it this year!).
